Baptism at The City Church
Baptism is a BIG part of who we are at The City. We believe it’s a powerful and public demonstration of your love for God and your decision to follow Jesus.
At The City, we baptize anyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

What Baptism Means:
Baptism is a way to go public with your faith—it shows the world that you have entered into a personal relationship with Jesus.

It symbolizes what has already happened in your heart:
- You placed your trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior.
- You’ve been made new—dying to your old life (going under the water) and rising again (coming up into new life).
- Your sins have been washed clean by His sacrifice on the cross.

Jesus Himself was baptized and tells us to do the same. 
It’s an act of obedience—not what saves us, but a powerful step in following Him.
“Those who accepted his message were baptized.” —Acts 2:41
